The town board, comprised of the Town Supervisor and four Council Members, is the governing board of the town. Some of the responsibilities of the town board include filling vacancies in town offices; providing for the hiring of such employees as necessary for conducting the town’s business; overseeing town operations; adopting budgets; fixing salaries of officers and employees; managing expenditures; establishing policies and procedures; enacting local legislation. We are currently working on making much of the town's legislation available on this website.

The town board meets the second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall. The agendas for the meetings are available by clicking on agenda under the meeting information in the Meetings box on the right hand side of the web pages.  Minutes of current meetings are available at the top of this page.  All meetings of the Town Board are open to the public.  Please note, this building is not wheelchair  accessible.  Town Board meetings will be relocated to the New Lebanon Firehouse upon request.  Anyone seeking this accommodation must call the town clerk at 518-794-8888 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
