Building/Zoning Complaints

Dear Town of New Lebanon Residents:

Please be advised that our local zoning ordinance [205-11 D] requires that all complaints be in writing and filed in person with the Zoning Enforcement Officer and/or clerk.

I understand that this may cause concern as some folks wish to remain anonymous. However; it is important for you to know that our office has systems in place that protects the complainants identity.   Additionally, a complainant’s name and contact information is NOT classified as public information in the eyes of the law and is exempt from the Freedom of Information Law. Therefore; even upon request we could not share this information.
