I did not receive anything in the mail. How do I respond?

You can still respond online to the 2020 Census even if you did not receive a letter or paper questionnaire. Go to my2020census.gov. Select the link that says, “If you do not have a Census ID, click here.” It is located below the Census ID login field.

However, a significant portion of New Lebanon will not receive the mailings.  The map inset below gives you an idea of the areas that are “Update/Leave”.

Update Leave (UL) is designed to occur in areas where the majority of housing units either do not have mail delivered to the physical location of the housing unit, or the mail delivery information for the housing unit cannot be verified.

**This schedule has been adjusted and is now scheduled for 3/30-5/1/2020
Subject to further adjustment.

For people who cannot complete online and DO NOT receive mail at their physical address, these are their options:
Residents who are unable to respond on-line will receive a paper form.  If they have a PO box then it will be delivered to their home by a Census taker or a Census taker may interview them in person.  The US Census Bureau does not send forms to PO boxes, only physical addresses.
Another option they have is to complete the questionnaire by phone.  They may call the US Census Bureau.
To begin, call 844-330-2020.  Hours of Operation: Phone lines are open every day from 7am to 2am Eastern Time.
